A little Lilly, anyone?

I love this time of year when Nabisco puts out their Lilly Pulitzer Animal Crackers. You can't get a cuter more appropriate favor for a little girls party or baby shower. If you can't find any in your hometown, I am selling them as favors in my shop. They come to you all ready wrapped in cellophane, shreds
 and a preppy little bow!

A couple of new invites....

Seems like Construction Parties are all the rage now a days, and barnyard parties are not too far behind. Here are a couple of new invites stocked in my etsy shop. Take a look if you are in the market for some digital print-at-homes!

31 Days of Halloween....

Fall is my favorite season so I thought it would be appropriate to try to challenge myself to do 31 days of Halloween and/or Autumn blog posts of ideas and decorations.

I made these cute little guys last October - found the idea in a magazine - they are simply white wedding bell decorations & black construction paper eyes & mouths - once you have them situated where you want to set them up, you drape cheesecloth over them. Thought it was such a cute idea and made so inexpensively!

Ikea for party supplies? Yes please!

I had never been much of a fan of Ikea until lately. I recently discovered their little marketplace which I usually just rushed through to get to the end of the long maze of rooms. Last week I decided to take my time and look around. I was very happy that I did! You can get some good finds at bargain prices for party supplies! I found some great deals for my upcoming Fiesta.....
These are much larger in person - and for $1 they were a steal! Not sure if I am going to use them as candle holders, or possibly drink tumblers for some pomegranate Don Julio drinks!

This table runner will look fabulous going down the middle of my table that I will set up as a bar. And for $4.99 you can't beat it!

These were woven colorful placemats for $1.50. The bowls came in sets of 4 for $2 I believe. And the packets of tea lights matched perfectly!

These napkins didn't do so well with my flash camera. The upper left ones are actually a beautiful shade of turquoise and the green ones are a much prettier green than the mossy shade they are giving off. For $1.99 a packet of 50 (and they are huge!), you can't beat it!

This was my favorite deal I found. They sell tons of fabrics off the bolt for an average price of around $6.99 per yard. I only bought one yard of this to use in the middle of my food table, but I am thinking of going back and getting some more. Gives a great colorful Mexican feel without doing the usual expected Serape striped fabric.

I know Ikea's are far and few between, but if you come across one or have one in a city close to you like I do, definitely take advantage for some cheap party supplies!
